This is a request for the changing the way that flows are graphically depicted in Sphinx SD to coincide with the simpler representation common in most other SD tools.
The first graphic below shows how Sphinxes currently depicts a flow between stocks. The second shows a simpler depiction and is implemented in other SD tools like iThink, Vensim, and MyStrategy.
OK ... Since the system would not let me add an image file, I'll describe the picture instead. Sphinxes SD currently requires streams on both sides of a flow between stocks. For biflows, this means 4 arrows (2 on each end of each stream). Whereas the more popular convention only has 2 arrows in total as one stream goes from one stock, through the flow and into the other stock with arrows only at the endpoints (i.e. the stocks) and none at the 'valve' itself.
